As the founder of this business, the name holds deep personal and symbolic significance that reflects both my values and the heart behind the services I provide.

In my front yard there is a Lone Cactus that stands tall. I was drawn to it when we very first bought the house. Since I’ve lived here I have seen that cactus endure all kinds of weather and animals, yet it‘s still standing. In the high desert where I live and work, the cactus is more than just a plant—it’s a symbol of resilience, strength, and quiet endurance. It survives in harsh conditions, stores what it needs, and stays rooted no matter the storm. I chose the cactus to represent my bookkeeping business because I believe that every small business—especially those out here in the dust and sun—deserves someone who will stand strong beside them, helping them manage their resources with care, efficiency, and honesty. 

The word “Lone” isn’t about isolation, but about standing apart and being one’s own strength. In a world where many financial services feel rushed, impersonal, or disconnected, The Lone Cactus Bookkeeping offers something different: down-to-earth, trustworthy, and personalized service for your needs. I bring integrity, faith, and a strong work ethic into everything I do, treating each client’s books like I would my own.

My name is Kyana Jacobs, and I am the owner of The Lone Cactus Bookkeeping. Along with being a wife and EMT, I’ve built a life rooted in hard work, faith, and family. I run A&K Ranch with my husband, where we raise, rescue and care for animals.  A&K Ranch also offers equine therapy to those in need. My passion for bookkeeping grew out of wanting to help small businesses stay organized and confident in their finances. I understand the challenges of balancing day-to-day operations with paperwork, and I take pride in providing accurate, reliable, and personalized bookkeeping services. My goal is to give business owners peace of mind so they can focus on growth, knowing their books are in trustworthy hands.
